Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial direction of the company during a critical season of growth and integration.
This role is not just about managing numbers—it’s about building financial infrastructure, driving clarity in decision-making, and ensuring long-term scalability. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, leadership team, and department heads to align financial strategy with company vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth goals.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
- Drive profitability through data-driven decision-making.
Accounting & Financial Operations:
- Oversee all accounting functions (AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial discipline.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital structure.
Process & System Development:
- Build scalable financial systems and reporting structures.
- Align financial processes with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Integrate financial workflows into ROS scorecards and meeting rhythms.
- Support QB/ERP/CRM/Monday.com financial integrations.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and develop the finance team (Accounting, Admin, etc.).
- Partner with department leaders to drive financial accountability.
- Support hiring, training, and performance management within finance.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or.
- 5+ years of financial leadership experience (Controller, CFO, or similar).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience building or improving financial systems and processes.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams.
Preferred:
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or distribution.
- Familiarity with EOS (Traction) or similar operating systems.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or process-driven organizations.
- Experience in high-growth or scaling companies
