IT Specialist Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support company computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, and system-related issues for employees.
- Set up and configure new employee workstations, email accounts, software access, and security permissions.
- Manage and support Google Suite, admin console, Apple Business Manager, etc.
- Assist with Monday.com administration, user setup, workflow troubleshooting, and process support.
- Support cybersecurity efforts including password management, multi-factor authentication, antivirus protection, and employee security awareness.
- Monitor and maintain company Wi-Fi, networking equipment, and internet reliability across locations.
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and software providers when needed.
- Maintain IT asset tracking and documentation for company equipment.
- Assist with backup systems, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support phone systems, cameras, and communication platforms.
- Help improve operational efficiency through technology solutions and automation opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company information.
- Assist leadership with IT-related projects, implementations, and process improvements.
- Respond to urgent technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
IT Specialist Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of IT support experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems and business software platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve problems quickly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices preferred.
- Experience with Monday.com, Slack, SafetyCulture, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Must maintain professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
